I was awarded the Fellowship of the Irish Phographic Federation a couple of years ago so I thought the natural progression was to put the same panel for a MFIAP - Master of the International Federation of Photographic Art - WRONG.  It failed as the panel did not like my two themes of static and moving vehicles.  I then took out the six moving vehicles and replaced a couple of the others - they were then happy with the panel a year later. I was very conscious of producing a balanced panel, producing the panel in three sub sections to balance the direction of the vehicles and some colour. According to the powers that be FIAP are not really interested in the layout.

Most of the images I could produce in a very short time, less than an hour on some of them.
There were three stages of production,
1 Masking around the vehicle.
2 Providing a suitable background which part or all it was made into monochrome.
3 Adding a textured screen as the top layer that I made up by scanning a piece of fairly open weave material.

The 20 printed images had to be mounted on thin a3 approx. card and sent to Paris.

This was the starting point, and a lot of adjustment was required.
