My Love for photography was not until the start of digital cameras. I started none seriously at first then a very good friend, Stuart Simmonds showed me the basics of the technology available in computers in 1994 and that’s where it began for me. I purchased my fist digital Sony Digital Mavica FD83 0.85Mp /1Mp thus followed by digital compact Fuji 4700 3.1mp, at the time was the state of the art, in 2002 this was shortly followed by my fist DSLR a canon digital rebel D300. From there I really started to understand what I wanted in the photography and got to grips with the technicalities of Apertures-stops eventually became hooked. I now use a Canon 1D MK III 10.5mp, coupled with numerous L lenses, Backed up with a Canon 30D, 8.1mp & 20D 6.1mp, and just recently a 7D all being extremely capable Cameras. My Second and most loved was the Canon 20D. Which unfortunately has now ceased working after 145 0000 clicks (Not good enough Canon). My favourite work will be that of people in street or situations reflecting life today. I also dabble in, and admire many other types of other photography including sport & most recently Natural History.
